15 years ago, I had a crazy idea: What if hotels actually knew what guests were saying about them—and could do something about it?
Back then, guest reviews were scattered across the internet like confetti at a New Year’s Eve party. Reputation management was more guesswork than strategy. We saw the chaos and thought: Hotels deserve better. So, we built a way to collect, analyze, and turn feedback into real, actionable insights.
Fast forward to today: Hospitality has changed dramatically. Data is everywhere. Guest expectations are sky-high. And let’s be honest—manual processes? As outdated as sending booking confirmations by fax. Hotels need smarter tools to keep up.

Our story
Since 2008, TrustYou has been pioneering customer feedback solutions in hospitality. We were the first to collect reviews from across the web, combining them with own survey data to deliver actionable insights to the hospitality industry in the form of online reputation management. Fast forward, we have re-invented the technology approach one again with the first true native Customer Data Platform (CDP) as well as chatAI. Our three platforms now collectively aggregate public and private customer data for 1m+ accommodations worldwide, 100k partners are trusting our services in more than 100 countries.
Executive Team
Benjamin Jost, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Ben started TrustYou with a simple idea: Making user-generated feedback accessible and understandable. He leads TrustYou with passion, innovative ideas and an open mind to activate the full potential of the customer experience platform, the team and its leadership. Before TrustYou, he was busy being an aspiring soccer player, getting his Master of Science in Electrical and Information Technologies and starting out in Venture Capital and in Corporate M&A in the renewable energy sector.
Dr. Nikolai Visnjic, Chief Financial Officer
Nikolai always had a passion for numbers, economics, venture capital and private equity. So much, that he even decided to dedicate his PHD thesis to these topics. At TrustYou, he oversees all finances, analyses, planning and budgets. Prior to being a CFO, he started out as analyst and took on leading positions at investment groups and consultancies. To balance out his desk time, he takes his motocross bike and tackles high hills, dirty ponds and rough tracks.
Roland Guelle, Chief Technical Officer
Roland lives and breathes technology. In various CTO positions he built up and managed companies like Avenga and Sevenval with remarkable success. His professional focus lies not only on technical concepts and architectures but also on building and optimizing the software organization, methodologies, and technologies. In his free time he enjoys creating things with a visible result, spending quality time with his family or – to keep it a bit nerdy – likes to install Linux on systems that are not made for it.
